I was visiting from out of town and just wanted to get some yoga in. Easy booking through mindbody app. Annie, the instructor, was really friendly and helpful. It ended up being 1-on-1, just the 2 of us, which could be awkward but wasn't in any way. 10/10 would recommend. Heads up, when you arrive, it'll look like you're at some plain jane building, but the studio is through the front doors and down the stairs at the left. There's good signage.
This is the place to come to your mat and find some peace. Quality teachers and a variety of classes are offered. The space itself is lovely. In addition, they are covid -19 aware and have taken many measures for everyone's safety. I am grateful to have the Yoga Loft in my community.
No matter what's going on in my life, nothing makes me feel better like the Slow Flow class. Perfect pace if you work hard doing heavy lifting during the day (me!). Sorry chiropractors, but I'll be staying here to stretch out my back and shoulders. Affordable classes, nice ambience. I will say even though the class I'm in says 'beginner' I would recommend having some prior experience with yoga or trying a few poses at home. They don't talk you through the poses as far as directions as much as breathing and encouragement. It's always a little different, sometimes I feel like the instructor can read my mind for what sorts of poses I need for the week!
Absolutely love this place. Bought a visitor's pass for the week and I want to take it back to Milwaukee with me after my week is up! The ambiance is perfect. The classes are amazing. The instructors are so helpful and sweet. I will most definitely be back!
